Cesky Krumlov

And this weekend? We drove to a charming town called Cesky Krumlov, in the Czech Republic. It's a UNESCO World Heritage City, situated in a bend of the Vltava River. Pics now, in no particular order, narrative to follow...

In the town square

On the castle grounds

Little Steve makes the first known attempt by an Orloski to suck an ice cube up from a table top (actually, from a protective baby wipe covering provided by his ever-vigilant mom)

While unsuccessful, he finds that half the fun is trying..

So tired...

Some views from the castle

In our lovely hotel - The Hotel Ruze, an old Jesuit college

The view from our window

We loved this giant chair in our room...interestingly, the toilet had a similarly robust frame.
